I am a 20-something mother of 2, living in Yorkshire but originally from the North East. My Mam was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in early May 2011, which was a massive shock to us all. 'All about the Boobies' was born out of my need for a place to vent my anger and frustration dealing with a baby, toddler ,and life in general with the Big C hanging over me. I am happy to report my Mam caught her lump very early and it was never life threatening, for which we are extremely grateful. However there is still a fair way to go on our journey, as Mam's treatment continues to ensure we never have to go through this again. Throw in my own breastfeeding journey with my little girl, my beacon of light through this whole dark time, and 2011 really has been the year of the boobies!!
